Scott Forrest, PhD
Chief Financial Officer

Scott has over 20 years of biopharma experience in finance, business development, and operations. Prior to joining Navigator, Scott served as Chief Operating Officer at Shoreline Biosciences, where he helped guide the company from its formation in 2020 through multiple rounds of funding, strategic pharma partnerships and ultimately its acquisition in late 2025.  Prior to Shoreline, Scott was Chief Financial Officer  at Autobahn Therapeutics and held C-suite and senior level roles at Inception Therapeutics (a Versant Ventures discovery engine), BlackThorn Therapeutics (now Neumora), and The Scripps Research Institute, in addition to serving on the Board of several Scripps portfolio companies.

Scott graduated from the University of Calgary with a bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and earned his Ph.D. in Pharmacology from the University of Virginia.
