Kristie Grebe, PhD

Head of Research & Development

Kristie brings over 20 years of immunology experience spanning research and development, with a career-long focus on advancing therapies from discovery stage to the clinic through translational medicine. She has led and supported teams from discovery through phase 3b/IV across a range of small molecule and biologic programs for gastroenterology, rheumatology and dermatology indications including SKYRIZI®(risankizumab-rzaa), RINVOQ® (upadacitinib) and HUMIRA®(adalimumab). Throughout her career, Kristie has built and mentored high-performing scientific and clinical teams and served as a key scientific spokesperson with investors, boards, and regulators.

Most recently, Kristie served as Chief Scientific Officer at Anokion, where she directed both research and clinical development for an immune tolerance platform, including designing and executing early-phase clinical trials in celiac disease and multiple sclerosis. Before Anokion, she spent more than a decade at AbbVie in positions of increasing responsibility, leading translational research and clinical strategy across multiple programs in the Immunology pipeline.

Kristie completed her postdoctoral fellowship in the Laboratory of Viral Disease at the National Institutes of Health. She holds a Ph.D. in Microbiology and Immunology from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and a B.S. in Microbiology and Cell Science from the University of Florida.
