Ian Heo, PharmD - Board Observer
Director, Timefolio

Ian Heo is a Director at Timefolio, one of the largest hedge funds in South Korea, where he leads private biotech and healthcare investments.

Since joining Timefolio in 2022, he has led private biotech investments, including Aktis Oncology, Precede Biosciences and Aspen Neuroscience. Investing in both the U.S. and Korea, he works to create synergies between the two markets, connecting portfolio companies with investors and strategic partners on both sides.

Prior to Timefolio, he spent more than 7 years at NS Investment, where he led investments including Morphic Therapeutic (acquired by Eli Lilly), Constellation Pharmaceuticals (acquired by MorphoSys), Harpoon Therapeutics (acquired by Merck) and Accent Therapeutics. He began his career at Dong-A Pharmaceutical, focusing on investments in early-stage assets. 

Ian holds a PharmD from Chung-Ang University in Korea.
